Cheetah and Plaid

Jacket: Hinge. Tank: Theory. Jeans: Joe’s. Bag: Vintage. Shoes: Burberry (love these here). Sunnies: Gucci.

As I’ve mentioned before here, I’ve been trying to mix it up with some prints. This outfit is my weekend wear print mix up and I love it. While this look is more casual, I’m definitely excited to try out a more dressed up version. For me spring is a time to try out some new styles. I’m really having fun with this look so far.

Tip of the week: Try mixing it up with some prints. It can be an easy way to give yourself a new spring wardrobe with things from your own closet! Things like cheetah and plaid or polka dots and stripes can be a fun way to experiment with a new look.

Delicate Orange

Sweater: Tory Burch. Jeans: Joe’s. Shoes: Tory Burch. Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs. Sunnies: Gucci.

This is a simple outfit that I wore on a day of running errands. This is probably one of the favorite sweaters I own. The only thing is it’s so delicate I hardly ever wear it. I love when things match so I just had to wear the orange shoes as well. School is about to be over in a few weeks so I’m working hard to finish strong! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Tip of the week: Don’t be afraid of being too matchy matchy. Sometimes it pulls an outfit together in the best way.

Spring Layers

Blouse: Bcbgmaxazria. Skirt: Bcbgmaxazria. Jacket: Hinge. Shoes: Via Spiga. Sunnies: Gucci. Lips: MAC.

I always seem to have the problem of a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. I know that I am not the only person that goes through this at times. This outfit is a mix of a lot of things I love and feel good in. For some reason these red pumps just keep popping up in my outfits. I love them so much and they are actually really comfy. Even though it’s officially spring, Texas is still cold and windy at times. I’m still layering a bit just to stay warm.  I know at some point it will be warm and sunny again. I hope you guys have a great week!

Quick Tip: Layering is always a good idea. No matter what season, sometimes you just need to put on a few light layers. The best way to do this during the warmer months is with a button down or a light leather jacket.

Simple and Comfy

Sweater: Free People. Jeans: 7 for all mankind (similar here) Wedges: Charles Jourdan Earring: Juicy Couture (old) Sunnies: Marc by Marc Jacobs Wallet: Marc by Marc Jacobs (great ones here)

As of tomorrow it will be officially SPRING. Yes, the moment I know I’ve been waiting for. With this outfit I wanted to keep everything light, easy, and simple. These jeans are my very fist pair of boyfriend jeans. I now know that I will have to invest in a few more pairs. When it comes to jeans (which I wear all of the time), I can always be found in skinny jeans. Ever since skinny jeans came back in style a while back, I have been hooked. Maybe its because they look so good with all of my shoes? I have to admit with these jeans I think I have been missing out. They are so comfy and relaxed but with the right accessories they are perfect. I put on one of the newest additions to my closet another Free People sweater. I just cannot get enough of them. This one is great because it so light weight I know that I can wear this sweater in the summer on those cooler nights. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and wear what you know you’ll feel comfy in. For me this outfit is it. The wedges aren’t really comfortable but they just look so fantastic. I just had to put them on.

Quick Tip: Sometimes it’s easy to get stuck wearing the same styles over and over again. It happens to the best of us. I want to courage you to take inventory of your closet. If you start to see the same things over and over again maybe it’s time for a change. Branch out and take a chance you might love the place it brings you to.
